Professional 

I've been working in the technology space for 30+ years.  I've been a Chief Product Officer, a Solutions Partner for a consulting practice of 150, a Product & Agile Coach, a Product Owner, as well as a variety of roles tied to the traditional solution development life cycle.  

I'm passionate about Product Management because I've seen strong PM skills resolve the core problems found in the traditional waterfall application development approaches I was forced to work in for years.  I'd love to share what I've learned over the past couple of decades and help you avoid the common pitfalls that come with transforming how you work. 

I've helped well over 60 clients over the past five years as a consultant, and worked inside organizations of less than 10 and organizations with 360,000+ employees as an FTE.

Personal

I'm a self-declared "Hipster Redneck."  

Illustrations to help that sink in:  

• I can sip a Grande Dirty Chai with 2 Shots while listening to Skynyrd.  
• I wear red Vans while downing a Pabst.  
• I make art pottery and throw darts. (not at the same time)
• I've been in the C-Suite, but I'm sensitive to the doer that is in the trenches. 

I do my best to embarrass my kids (now young adults) and love my wife to the moon and back.  

I call 'em as I see 'em and do my best to live every day with a sense of gratitude and joy - regardless of my circumstances.
